TEACHING ETHICS
Following a successful seminar on teaching ethics which was held by the Standing Committee on Ethics in Prague in October 2010 it has been decided that over the next year the 1999 EFPA Recommendations for teaching Ethics for Psychologists will be updated. Yesim Korkut (Turkey) is leading the work group on this matter. The aim will be to broaden the scope of the guidance to include approaches to assessing ethical competence. In addition it is hoped to recommend a reading list as well as minimum standards for curricula at different levels of education.
